The Mount Vernon Place Conservancy is pleased to present the first-ever virtual tour of the Washington Monument and a timeline of Mount Vernon Place. The digital exhibit, which can be accessed using the button below, invites visitors to explore the Monument from its foundation to the statue of George Washington nearly 180 feet above. Visitors may also enjoy the timeline which highlights important events in the history of the Monument and Mount Vernon Place. It is richly illustrated with 40 images of original drawings, maps, prints, and other historical documents.Launch Interactive
